In 2012, I started learning to sew, inspired by the growing demand for handmade items and my desire to create quilts for my future child (born in 2015). Initially, I made placemats, cushion covers, and tea towels, with my mother's guidance.

My first market in Grafton marked the beginning of my business's growth. I expanded my product range to include cot quilts, initially for my son and later for customers. Over the years, I have created many custom items and stock for market sales. Since 2012, I have been participating in markets, traveling to Coffs Harbour, Glenreagh, and local events in Grafton.

By late 2023, I began exploring the idea of opening a fabric and handmade gift shop in Grafton to meet the local demand for unique items and a variety of fabrics sourced from across Australia. Over six months, I worked towards acquiring Grafton Textiles.

On June 11, 2024, I purchased Grafton Textiles and rebranded it as B & L Creation’s Fabric & Gifts, which I now operate with Lyn.
